This Position would be played at the 12th fret, since in the video, I'm playing in the key of E. You can feel free to move the Scale and/or the lick to any key you want.
For the last part of the lick I play a part of a plain old major bar chord with the root on the fifth string of the guitar. You'll see in the video that I omit the note on the 5th string and play only the barred portion on the 4th,3rd,and 2nd strings at the 9th fret.
The backing track I'm playing along with is a twelve bar blues in the key of E, but the lick only takes place over the first 4 bars of the I chord. You can download the track for free by right clicking here E Blues Jam Track and saving it.

very helpful. All the excellent videos on you tube (so far) fail to mention the scale being used, which is really what we need to know. thanks
Larry, That's exactly why I made sure to mention the scale. I also see a lot of slide guitar vids on youtube that don't mention what tuning is being used, so I made sure to include that as well.
Thanks for your comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
